Meet The Jeweler
Hello! My name is Kestrel and I’m the artist and maker behind Kestrel Dillon Jewelry. I grew up in the mountains of the Southwest and I primarily take inspiration from the small details, colors and textures of my home landscape. I love to create organic forms and use materials that emphasize the Earth’s natural beauty. I have always loved small, beautiful things, but really fell in love with jewelry design, and the process behind it, when I was in school at Pratt Institute, where I completed a BFA in Jewelry Design in 2020. Since then, my work has been shown in several galleries, like the Natural History Institute Gallery and ‘Tis Gallery in Prescott, AZ and in group shows, like the Plan B Art Project and Treasures in Translation exhibition for New York Jewelry Week. I love creating bespoke and one-of-a kind work- if you have an idea for a project, please feel free to reach out. With very few exceptions, all my work is hand carved by me. It is all designed and hand finished by me in my New York studio. You can also see my work in person at Fitzgerald Jewelry in Brooklyn, NY.
